That is, if you weren’t busy closing your eyes shut during work and reminiscing his towering over you next to your coffee table, your kitchen sink, your bathtub, and countless other places that were just as dull as your life happened to be without him. It was all colourless.

Robby leans against the doorway and catches Dennis's eyes in the mirror. He quirks up an eyebrow and flicks his eyes in the direction of the toilet. Dennis nods, takes a step forward, his hands going to the tie at the waist of his scrub pants, when he feels Robby move behind him, a kiss of air pressure that's not enough to be anything more than matter, shifting through space, and when it stops, Robby is leaning against the sink basin next to the toilet, his arms crossed and his gaze leveled expectantly at Dennis.
It's…too fucking weird, mostly because it's not actually that weird at all. Maybe it's the eternal clinician that lives inside Robby, or the way his breath shakes almost imperceptibly on the exhale, but Dennis doesn't feel nearly as uncomfortable as he probably should under Robby's steady gaze.

Dennis gets dehydrated enough that he almost passes out during rounds, and Robby decides he just can't have that.
