Year 2017 of the Imperial Calendar, the once strong nation of Japan has been fighting it's oppressors for 7 years. Right as it seems that the core resistance movements within Area 11 may be poised to fall, two boys awaken to a world which they feel inexorably compelled to change - with the help of new powers bestowed upon them. Will their battles to change the world bring them closer to each other, or will they instead push the duo apart?
AKA: Light Yagami and Lelouch vi Britannia both gain supernatural powers during a time in history where the world needs a hero the most. But they cannot both be the hero of this story. Somehow, Lelouch has woken up in a different time. He’s supposed to be dead and gone, but the strange transfer of Charles’ Code to him has shown its consequences after his planned death. This is a different world; one he plans to do better than the last.
Too bad things still, as ever, do not go his way. Hindsight fixes little when he just doesn’t have the Power of Kings, when the power of control is out of his hands. No, Suzaku has it. And that proves to be more trouble than he could ever expect.
