“Han Ji…Han Jisung what the hell are you doing here” Lee Know stood up from the chair, pointing at him and they just probably seemed two idiots from outside.
“Me?! What are you doing here!” Jisung said, accentuating the word 'you’.
“Well I work here so it's not me who shouldn't be here” The blonde said, waiting for an explanation from Jisung.
“Well I'm Minji’s father and some teacher is bothering her so I have the right to be here!” Jisung didn't even know why he was getting angry.
“You're Minji’s father?! How old are you? And I'm not bothering her!” Minho crossed his arms, and Jisung raised an eyebrow, offended by the question.
“Huh? Didn't seem to matter my age some nights ago” Jisung blurted out, maybe it wasn't the best thing to remember while they were at school.

“Okay so um…why are you tormenting my Minji?”
“Do you talk like this at every teacher or just the ones you fuck with?”
Or What if, after yet another argument with his teenage daughter, Han Jisung finds a bartender to have sex with? Just for one night...

Summary
Minho would’ve chuckled at the big, black fuzzy caterpillar of a hat on the guy onstage if he hadn’t gotten stuck on his bright, round eyes. Or his soft pink-tinted cheeks. Or the awkward, but cute way his feet nervously turned inward as he adjusted the strap of his guitar. Or the gentle twinge of brunette slipping over his forehead.
Maybe the array of buttons on his jacket was part of it too.
“Hi, I’m-” Mic feedback screeched and the poor guy winced as he scrunched his face. “Sorry…I’m HAN. Han Jisung is my real name, but you know, needed a stage name.” He bit his lip and slid his fingers over the fret of his red electric guitar. “It’s bingo night? That’s cool.”
He was so awkward that Minho wanted to eat him. In an endearing way, not like a cannibal or something. Though his clipboard was meant for taking bingo attendance, Minho couldn’t help but pencil in “Han Jisung” above the margins, just so he wouldn’t forget.

Summary
When Minho first meets Jisung, he’s been given six months to live.
“Could be a year, if he’s lucky,” says Chan, the man who answers the door for Minho and introduces himself as Jisung’s best friend.
Jisung, the tiny, wisp of a thing sitting in a wheelchair with a pink beanie on his head and a green knit blanket covering his lap, smiles mildly. “Channie’s an optimist,” he says. He waits until the other man walks into a different room to add, “I’ve never been lucky.”
(Or: Jisung is dying. Minho gets hired as his death doula.)
