Summary
It had been a fair bit of time since the legend of the everlasting Sapling was discovered. That day, the Wasp King, the foul usurper, was defeated by brave explorers. It was the story sure to become a legend or be put to play one day. For Bugaria came the time of peace, cooperation, and development. The time to get some well-deserved rest.
Or... so they thought. As bellow Bugarians, almost right beneath their feet, an ancient kingdom was roused from its slumber. The soothing serenade of mind-rendering gale has stopped, and the stagnant carcass of the lands once called Hallownest was once more open to the world. But be warry a traveler who sets foot there, as with riches, mysteries, and legends of the devastated kingdom to you might come its traps, tragedies, and horrors.
A new adventure beckons, but first, Bugaria has to greet some new guests.

One of a few pieces that do take serious what ULTRAKILL is. Machines are layers or horror beyond compare. And this story makes you feel it, comparing it to something so normally insenticised to murder and violence like Helloverse. Marvelous.
