“Come on,” the alpha says. He tilts his head towards the water as Jimin gapes at him with fear in his eyes. “Get in.”
Tonight Jimin listens.
Whether because of the humid heat clouding the air or the insomnia induced delirium or something else entirely, Jimin's feet take tiny steps until he stands at the edge of the bath. The tip of his toes get dangerously close to dipping in, just needing to take one last step. The alpha’s eyes watch his every move, scanning down his body with rapt attention.
“Go on,” the alpha says, voice dripping with deep richness.
Jimin—for reasons he fails to understand—listens. His body carries him, slowly sauntering down the steps and into the hot water without thinking it over any longer. Something about it feels helpless and uncontrollable, making him itchy inside. He pushes it down.

“Nothing!” Too quick. Too loud. Too suspicious. Stupid omega, stupid Koo. He pulls at his sleeve until it engulfs his entire hand. Overcorrection is what Namjoon would call it.
Jimin’s brow furrows in a way he knows the noona’s would scold him for, wrinkle-inducing they’d fret. “Can I see?” His hand raises, open and non-threatening and Jungkook hates how desperately it makes him want to run. If he wasn’t so suspicious in the first place this could have all been avoided, or if he was just up front about it maybe the alpha wouldn’t be looking at him so concerned. His scent taking on that protective sort of cadence it always does when he thinks he needs to step up as a pack protector.
But there’s nothing he needs to protect Jungkook from. It’s his own stupid doing and his own stupid teeth and if his hands are already dirty he might as well keep digging his own grave.
