This one probably isn't long for the world regardless. He was going to get beaten to death in a dark alleyway sooner or later. Astarion knows exactly how unpleasant a death that was, and how merciful a few confused and terrified moments in Cazador's boudoir would be by comparison. His master wouldn't care that his first mark had been scared off or that this one was dead on his feet when Astarion found him, he'd only care if the guest room was empty.

The gods have never cared for Astarion and Astarion has never cared for the gods. His prayers have always gone unheard - until tonight.

Tra'asic un githyanki de la classe ensorceleur draconique à fait un choix murement regrettable pour son avenir avec Astarion, son partenaire à gagner en puissance en terminant le rituel, sacrifiant tout les rejetons ainsi que Cazador faisant de lui un Vampire Lord. Il est rare que des gith forme un couple et il est encore plus rare avec un istik (Non gith) mais Tra'asic à choisi Astarion comme partenaire et un partenaire puissant semblait être une meilleure option mais il n'a pas su réfléchir aux conséquences et ce n'est qu'une lorsque le cerveau infernal fut vaincu que Tra'asic regretta d'avoir laisser Asta terminer le rituel. Le langage githyanki sera présent et traduit ; exemple : Ch'mar, zal'a Vlaakith (La volonté de Vlaakith avant tout)

Astarion could care less at that point, too tired and hungry to really get to know the person. “A pleasure to make your acquaintance, then, Dirge.” He mimicked the bow and grinned. “And yes, you are correct, I’d like a night of passion, if that’s what you’re offering. If that’s what you want. I’ll give you a night you’ll never forget.”

Story based on the idea that the "darling boy" Astarion saves end up being Tav/Dark Urge and they meet again in canon. Takes place pre-canon and canon.
