The last fic he had published, “Who parked their CAR on my SANDWICH!?” (Yes, Shuri had also introduced him to ASDF movies), had taken a large portion of dialogue directly from the avengers as they squabbled over lunch and finding out who had stolen Hulk’s sandwich (It was Clint. It was always Clint.) That fic had gotten a LOT of comments, every single one telling him how incorrect his characterisation was. Except these were things they had ACTUALLY said. These were descriptions of ACTUAL events. So why was everyone so insistent it was the least accurate thing in the world?
