    Over a year ago, the group escaped the circus.
    Several months later, Jax attempted to take his own life, only to be saved by the people he swore hated him.
    Things have been better lately, he thinks, after he started therapy. He finds that he likes talking about these sorts of things, if you can believe it. Feels nice to get that gunk out, to remove the gross parts of him that he never dared touch before. Unfortunately for him, though, there's still a lot more than needs to come out.

    "I- Well, I don't know, it sounds... intriguing," Pomni says, holding her hands behind her back and looking away.

    "Oh?" Jax stands up and leans towards Pomni, his signature grin on his face. "Jeez, Pompom, I didn't realize you were that much of a freak," he teases, flicking her forehead. Pomni just rolls her eyes in response.
