–¡Son medidas desesperadas! –Matsumura se inclinó sobre la mesa y, tomando los hombros del otro, como si de una plegaria se tratase, dijo–: Porque en estos momentos, tú eres el único chico en el mundo para mí.
Donde Matsumura, tras enterarse de que Hirose está saliendo con una chica, decide proponerle a Nakamura empezar una relación falsa para arruinar a la pareja.

“Right!” He said firmly, “Today is the first day of high-school! I can’t just lay in bed like it’s not one of the most important days of my life!”
He ran the few feet needed to reach his window where the previously offensive rays of sun had come through and fully opened the curtains. The sun beamed on his face and made his eyes, now fully open, shine bright. Hirose laughed to himself. The world was greeting him and he was going to high school with his friends. There would be new people to meet! New people meant new friendships.
He nodded to the world outside, then looked at the mirror on his desk. His smile grew wider.
’Go for it, Hirose-kun!’ He thought and ran downstairs to have breakfast before his mom could make him take a bath first.

"H..huh?" Nakamura stuttered, groggily rubbing his eyes as he sat up. He now noticed Hirose staring patiently at him, along with a couple of his classmates at the door.
"It's Takeuchi's birthday today, we're all going over to his house to celebrate. Wanna come?" Nakamura snapped up in his seat and nodded quickly.
"Of course! Let me grab my things, sorry." He laughed shyly, trying to conceal the nervousness inside of him.
His first party, and with Hirose? He could barely contain himself.
They had made their way to the school gates when suddenly Hirose stopped walking. He looked a little shocked, and broke off from the crowd to go run over to something, or someone.
Nakamura squinted, leaning past his classmates to see what and - was that Matsumura?

When Kawamura dared Nakamura to play spin the bottle during Takeuchi's birthday party, he thought it would be his lucky day. That idea was quickly squashed when instead of Hirose, the bottle landed squarely infront of Matsumura.
