Peter might actually re-think his policy of trying to rehabilitate would-be criminals if it was going to keep landing him into a pile of shit. Especially the dimension-travelling, body shrinking kind of trouble.
Well, it's not like a bit of emotional turmoil (read: complete and utter upheaval of Peter's barely-hanging-by-a-thin-thread life) ever stopped Peter Parker from helping others as Spider-man.
(Maybe he should have stopped and smelled the poison ivy, because his life is a train wreck and he can't take his eyes away from it.)

Katsuki groans and orders a steak. If he’s gonna do this, he might as well eat something expensive while he feels his dignity slipping away.

And more, he'd lived through a betrayal of someone he trusted with his life, and lived through death threats, bricks thrown at his windows, temporary homelessness, and villains coming from different dimensions with the sole intention to kill him.
He'd lived through it all.
Until one day, he didn't.
