Summary
When Aina decided to answer Grandpa's call to agriculture, she didn't want to just restore his farm to its former glory. She set out to find her place. To be free to be herself. To belong to the loving, honest community Grandpa had described in his final letter to her.
But as she comes to learn, unhappiness has a way of following you even after you leave the sources of it behind. And unless you confront it, unless you make peace with it, it has a way of sabotaging your efforts toward a better life, and new love.
A collection of one-shots, vignettes, and snippets detailing Aina's life in Stardew Valley. Non-linear narrative.

Summary
“Oh that's right...I heard someone new was moving onto that old farm. It's kind of a shame, really. I always enjoyed exploring those overgrown fields by myself.”
“Ah, well! Who says ya can’t still explore my land? I don’t.”
30 scenes of two burgeoning witches who push each other in the best ways, and sometimes in some less-than-the-best ways. Written for Sapphic September 2025.

Summary
An AU where Aina comes up in the same generation as Jiraiya. After evading the law for nearly half her life, she settles in Konoha as a farmer. The death of her mother, who had also been her partner in crime, has left her at a crossroads. Through Jiraiya's writing, and their conversations, Aina renews her inspiration to become her own brand of shinobi. Their misadventures, and respective hang-ups, may well end up changing the course of Konoha's history as we know it!
As everyone knows, Jiraiya, along with Tsunade and Orochimaru, are named after the characters in the Japanese folktale, Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari ("The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya"). "Jiraiya" (自来也), roughly translated can mean "I came", whereas from the derived story the name holds the meaning "Young Thunder" or "Young Lightning".
The kappa, which serves as Aina's motif as an outlaw and later shinobi, is an aquatic turtle-like demon said to become a faithful servant to those who either best them or show them kindness. For instance, if you manage to trick one into spilling the water from out of the bowl in its head--said to be the source of its vitality and power--and then refill their head, they'll be your BFF.- Words:

Summary
A collection of stories following the arc of my Naruto OC, Aina, from Part I to the New Era. Canon-compliant.
Aina's favorite phrase, “Powerful under the edge” (縁の下の力持ち。En no shita no chikaramochi), is a real Japanese proverb. The 縁 えん (en) is the long wooden porch in traditional Japanese-style houses. Though unseen, there are many foundation pillars under the en that hold up the porch. The phrase is a metaphor for unsung heroes: people who work tirelessly in support of others but get no recognition for their efforts.
