Summary
In a land of myth and a time of magic, the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of one man, his name… Merlin. Or so the tales go. But tales have a way of getting away from oneself, and history has a way of morphing. For while the fate of the world would always rest on Merlin’s shoulders, how he determined that fate had a way of changing, of spinning out, from one tale to another, from one moment to the next, in a web of different destinies. For this tale has been told before, and shall be again, in a web of magic and time, in choice and fate, in friendship and family, and in love and duty. With the simple act of a single man leaving something as small and insignificant as a mere cloak behind, so our tale begins.
When Merlin uses his father's crest to get Lancelot into the knights it's sets off a series of events that change the future of Camelot and Albion forever. Can Merlin make it through his time as Arthur's squire alive? Can he protect his new found family while hiding his growing feelings for his prince? Can Arthur hide his for his manservant turned squire? Only time will tell.
