Post episode 10, and picks up immediately after the end of the game.
This is going to be a slow burn featuring Jake x f!MC. It is going to be as faithful as I can make it to the events of the game, which also means taking as realistic an approach as possible to the psychological ramifications of what happened to each of the characters.
I have tried quite hard to ensure that there is as little immersion loss as possible with my version of the f!MC, so it is my hope that you will be able to have her be whomever she is in your head (to a degree).
The MC's name will never be said as I personally find that even using the titular MC or y/n is still jarring, and I will try to keep descriptions of her to as generic a feel as possible without inadvertently causing said immersion loss as it makes you wonder what Jake ever saw in such a basic bitch.
The descriptions of Jake have been lifted from what little information we are given in game about him, with a little artistic liberty to describe how I see him in my mind's eye. Because I love my boy Jake and there is no way that I can write a story about him without describing the fuck out of him.

Part 2! Six months have passed since the VKs defeated Maleficent. Evie is Magnifico's daughter and now Princess of Rosas. Ben is High King and has to spend long months apart from his girlfriend while she's getting used to Rosas - and the possibility she may someday become its next Queen. Mal is Lady of the Isle and stretched thin, trying to help plan Evie's cotillion while her friend is away with help from magic... and Jane. In flashback (in later chapters), Chad Charming faces the consequences of his actions.
Important fact! Auradon Preparatory Academy is an elite two-year postsecondary establishment with several tracks: several different discipline-based university preparatory tracks, and another for those entering public service (including nobility, but nobility can also attend a university prep track). Why change it? So that none of the characters are minors.
