    Mycroft Holmes has never had a life that is better than being 'fine.' He struggles with social skills and spends his weekends not speaking to anyone and only has a cactus for companionship and a brother who causes him some bother. He definitely does not get lonely, and he is completely fine.

    Everything changes when he comes across Greg Lestrade, a Detective Inspector, who has a large heart that helps to repair Mycroft's damaged one. The two of them help one another through their lives of loneliness.
