Hollanov College Au
Shane Hollander starts university thinking it's a chance for him to further his education and maybe make a few new friends. He is determined to make a good impression on the hockey team so he can eventually go pro. Adamant to get rid of the ever loud voice in his head whispering ideas about his sexual identity, his plan is to meet a nice girl and to stay out of anything that could distract him.
Across the hallway lives a complicated, equally talented and undeniably sexy Russian. The exact kind of distraction that polite Canadian boys should worry about.
Ilya Rozanov has just moved to Canada to attend this hockey-focused school and also to get away from his asshole brother and father. All alone in a new country with only an average amount of English, he indulges in non-speaking activities to get to know people. He casually disregards the academic side of things, ultimately focusing on being the best at hockey to gain attention from scouts.
When he inevitably falls behind on classes, there's only one person he looks to for help.Or: Ilya slacks off on classes to be better than Shane at hockey and then Shane ends up having to tutor him. Lots of gay feelings and panic.

Oh my goodness!!! This was so super fun and cute. Perfect summer read, the characterisation was great, the world building was revolutionary and the overall writing was incredible. The repetition of certain words and phrases was very affective and the ending was so super heartwarming.
