Summary
The dream comes to her in flashes, wisps of color and movement that are gone by morning, but leave imprints in their wake. Like the sweet, sticky taffy that the kitchens like to sneak her when she visits with mother and Impa. It sticks to her molars, and she spends the rest of her afternoon lessons tracing the fading sweetness with her tongue. She tries to catch the details of the dream like that, to draw the sweetness out from the cavities of her mind. It is like a game.
Zelda loves games. Her tutors put down arithmetic and puzzles and problems in front of her, and she races to pick them up and slot them together. It makes her blood run hot.

He has her lightning. It’s hardly noticeable to the untrained eye, but Libber has years under her belt of dealing with shocks. She feels the tingle in his palms whenever he laughs or cries or shrieks, and sometimes, when he sneezes, she feels the lights dim the tiniest, tiniest bit.
Of course, she still keeps a lot of it. His body can only handle so much. But as he grows, her power will slowly fade, and her lightning will become his. That’s how it’s worked since the beginning of time itself.
Or: An exploration of Elemental Masters, the way powers are passed from generations, and all the emotions and complexity that comes with it.

It was supposed to be a normal field trip to a museum of modern art, an end of the school year trip that he supposed was ‘educational’ enough for his teachers to allow a bunch of misbehaved ADHD middle-grade kids to go to.
Haha. How he wished that was the case.

The Players of the Evolution SMP are spat out of a bedrock portal into a world hub, accompanied by corrupted items and an old defensiveness in their shoulders reminiscent of the way combat worked in the years before the overhaul. They have a Moderator — IntheLittleWood, or Martyn, as he prefers — who gives Scott a stressed but friendly grin. Their Admin is missing. Missing, not dead, though they don’t give out any identifying traits for a search party.
Or: After escaping the Evolution SMP, it’s members learn to grapple with their newly re-obtained freedom

She shuffled herself away from the wall, hissing when her back thunked against another. A throbbing pain started to build between her eyes, whispers filling her head. “I’m not crazy,” she insisted, though she didn’t know who she was trying to convince: herself, or the voices that floated into her ear, coming from seemingly nowhere.
She took a desperate moment to really look at her little prison. Though there wasn’t much to see. The dark, cramped alcove box she sat in showed absolutely no regard in the way of escape, but she could see light filtering in from just ahead of her.

Iris Peters is normal.
It's the one thing she's exactly sure of in life. She lives with her Aunt Ellen in Sunny Bay, a small town off the coast of California. She hangs out with friends, writes cheesy poetry, complains over the homeschooling her aunt subjects her to; and sure there's a few bumps in there, but there's nothing to worry about, right? But when her life gets flipped upside down and she learns she's the heir of a realm who's in the grasps of a dark sorcerer, she has to push all the normal stuff aside in favor of magical powers, crystals, and two strange alien friends.
Let's just hope she can handle this.
