DrarryThe one where they’re amicably antagonistic colleagues at Gringotts (Draco’s an economancer (i.e., maths nerd) and Harry’s a cursebreaker), Harry’s had a recent gay awakening, and Draco is consequently having a meltdown at Blaise.
Thoroughly delightful, with a deft style, sophisticated use of language, and endlessly funny deadpan tone. (Seriously, there are little asides—like Harry’s passing thought about the lengthy Harry Potter-focused (and not at all work-related) quarterly reports that Draco sends to his inbox, and then the throwaway addition that the drawer he keeps them in is running out of room—that don’t drive the narrative forward, but instead serve as grace notes to highlight just how mutually obsessed and weird they are about each other.)
Feat. utterly ridiculous Draco; obsessed Draco; flirtation in a gay bar (after Draco comes over to harass Harry under the pretext of offering his wisdom / expertise about gay sex, Harry is bold and flirtatious enough to make a move); sex that, while not my preferred dynamic, is narrated just as hilariously as the rest of the fic; the start of something. Also abundant use of dashes and parentheticals, yay!
Add memorable scenes upon reread so I can find this in my bookmarks. Also may merit the masterpiece tag in addition to the comfort fic tag, due to the sheer virtuosity of the language and structure; decide after coming to it with fresh eyes.

MerthurFunny and conversational; a delightful read. The post-magic-reveal fic that starts with Arthur falling through the ice into a lake and which includes top-notch idiots in love. Arthur is still a prince regent, and Merlin has been avoidant now that Arthur knows. (As do the knights, though he’s not avoiding them.) An abundance of thoroughly ridiculous, terribly jealous Arthur who’s incredibly possessive of Merlin and who gets more than a little fixated on the revelation that everyone has a bit of a crush on his manservant; longsuffering Percy; smitten Arthur; first kiss and getting together. Might classify this one as (mutual) pining, but really they’re both such ridiculous idiots that I’m not sure it counts; the work tag “two sides of the same idiot” is really a pitch-perfect encapsulation of this fic.
The one where Arthur is bedridden to recover and amuses himself by playing fetch with an enchanted scrub brush that Merlin forgot in his room (using a rolled-up sock in place of a ball); also the one where a jealous Arthur invents a milkmaid named Daisy who’s clearly going to run off with Merlin, unless Gwaine does it first; and the one that ends with feelings confessions, cuddling and kissing in Arthur’s bed.

Draco is staying with her for the summer to teach her how to manage an estate, and ends up spending an inordinate amount of time taking walks past the cottage when Harry’s outside gardening. Enemies to friends to lovers, awkward both, mutual crushes. A bit of pining Harry, once Draco goes back to town; love confessions; happy moving-in-together epilogue. Also a bit of supportive friends.

The one where Draco’s very elliptical, timing his vulnerable moments and confessions for plausible deniability, and every time Harry calls him out on whatever statement he’s just made, Draco says that it must have been the alcohol (despite being sober at the time): feelings confessions when the blender is running—though Harry can lip-read and is Gryffindor enough to make a move; whispered love confessions when they’re in a crowded booth at the pub, leaving Harry to be the one to change the status of their secret relationship; proposal whispered during one of Pansy’s dinner parties; suggesting that they have a baby while Ron’s finishing their wedding toast (and immediately presenting Harry with adoption papers). Feat. smitten, fond Harry; slightly ridiculous Draco; supportive friends; tons of affection.
The one where Harry is the one who makes margaritas for the group (even though they taste dreadful) because no one else wants to deal with the blender that Arthur modified; also the one with Pansy’s monthly Adults Should Understand How Silverware Works dinner parties, where everyone defies the intent of the occasion and fucks around transfiguring their cutlery into increasingly implausible alternatives.

Herbologist Neville runs a shop; potioneer Draco visits for supplies for his job at St. Mungo’s, Auror Harry visits for tea breaks, and they’re a pair of mutually pining idiots. Neville despairs, Luna meddles, Draco is extremely dramatic and ridiculous. The one with dinner for four in the greenhouse; also the one where Draco’s response to Harry (finally) asking him out is awkward silence followed by fleeing, then returning the next week with a courtship peacock; hospital bedside scene at the end where we learn that Harry’s been doing all his Draco-crush-related drama at Pansy and Blaise.

Accidental mpreg from a drunk shag, Draco determined to give up the baby to Harry and go abroad because he doesn’t think he knows how to be different from Lucius, Harry falling in love, tearjerker middle with a happy ending, idiots in love. Hilarious bonus: incredibly awkward and inarticulate love confessions, which are very in keeping with how emotionally inarticulate they both are throughout this fic. Feat. supportive Ron and Hermione.

Beekeepers and roommates; Harry courting Draco with gifts; ridiculous, anxious, slightly neurotic Draco who paces and counts and makes lists, and who’s (also oblivious and) suspicious about all these unexpected and expensive gifts; love confessions and gentle first kisses on Christmas Eve; subtle themes of conquering fear and opening up. Beautifully written, sweet and straightforward.
The one where they drive their beehives to local heather fields; also the one with Draco’s ridiculous and increasingly implausible list of reasons why Harry would be giving him gifts.

Living together, falling in love, slow burn, Draco’s longstanding crush, protective Harry, wary / prickly Draco, persistent Harry, supportive friends, perceptive Ron. Draco’s an alcoholic to cope with his life, and this fic deals thoughtfully with relapse and recovery. Love confessions that are built up to beautifully. Some suspense, but a happy, peaceful ending.
Obsessed Harry is told to leave well enough alone after he encounters a drunk Draco making a scene in a fountain in Muggle London (Harry’s an Obliviator who was sent out to deal with the breach in the Statute of Secrecy), but is typically obsessed Harry instead. The one where Ginny and Neville are married with an infant daughter, and Harry and Ginny share custody of James and Al.

An opening that’s quintessential “Harry Potter is Obsessed with Draco Malfoy” (and which goes on for several paragraphs of Harry-in-denial trying to rationalize his “noticing”):
“The trouble was that Harry had started noticing and now it seemed he couldn’t stop. Everywhere he looked, there was Malfoy. (Well, not everywhere. Sometimes he had to go a little bit out of his way, but then, bam, there he was.)”

And if the whole dinner is as exclusive and sought-after as the Prophet keeps breathlessly reporting, then presumably the only reason Malfoy wants him there is in his capacity as the Chosen One.
