Summary
The desire to protect those closest to him. This was what drove Natsu to join Gildarts on his Century Quest to the war torn land of the Scarlione Empire. Harsh training and a will to survive simply weren't enough to prepare him for the horrors awaiting him in the war torn land, or the Century Quest that led them there.
