Harry Potter fell through the Veil chasing his godfather. Harry was still underage and had blood protection on him that didn't let him die until he was an adult. Or maybe it was because it had to be Voldemort who killed him.
Harry didn't know and didn't care much. Whatever the reason, Death just decided it wasn't Harry's time to die yet. So the Veil decided to spit him out again.
Except he's not sent back to 1996. He wakes up in 1975 with no memories. He just knows there are people calling him James, and the actual James is confused.
They soon realize it will be up to them to save Wizarding Britain by meddling with the timeline. Along the way, Harry will discover more than he bargained for.
Everything Harry had been ever told, which was not much, was told by people who were grieving, biased, or blinded by loyalty and hatred. Most of it was exaggerated or false.
Now, surrounded by living ghosts, he’ll learn who James Potter and Lily Evans really were—and what they might still become.

Wyatt Halliwell seems to have a ten year plan for taking over the entire magical world and then maybe the mortal world too. Chris, as his brother and last other Halliwell witch standing, has to figure out how long (and how far) he's willing to follow him, and what he'll be capable of doing to try and stop him. That would be complicated enough, if they weren't also in love with each other.
