Summary
Six months after the Demon King’s defeat, Link and Zelda are out of rhythm with the recovering Hyrule and one another. Zelda struggles to focus on her reconstruction projects, a part of her still stuck in the past with the remnants of war she left behind, while Link shuts himself away preparing for a future that may never come to pass.
When, one day, Link finds himself unable to wield the Master Sword, the two of them are thrust into the dilemma of what exactly that means, and how they want to deal with it.
After all—when your world has ended twice before, how do you let yourself carry on?

Summary
It wasn’t as though he one day chose to cease speaking. It just happened.
No one wanted to engage him in conversation anymore. None of the fellow knights seemed to know what to do with him. All were a varied mix of jealous, pitying, and awed. Link could not decide which he hated most, and so he withdrew into himself more, replacing the hours that had once been filled with camaraderie and friendship with training.
Sunup to sundown, he practiced. Sometimes under the watchful eye of his Captain, sometimes on his own, a lone figure on the training field. Others gave him a wide berth, eyeing his intense stance and expression with wariness.
It was not enough, Link discovered. People looked to him with a desperate desire. They wanted his reassurance. They wanted his heroism, like the heroes of years past. They wanted him to save them.

Over the years, Link's relationship with verbally speaking has changed as his circumstances have. Each chapter will cover a different time period of his life, from Pre-Calamity to Post-Totk. Each chapter can be read on its own, like a one-shot, if you're avoiding spoilers.

Summary
Link didn’t know how far into the future he’d woken up this time, just that it had to have been more than a century.
The people here spoke gibberish, the Great Plateau was home to a looming, unfamiliar castle, and the Gerudo were openly hostile towards everyone.
He wasn’t sure what had happened since he’d last been awake, but he knew that if he wanted answers, the Castle was where he’d find them.
And maybe, just maybe, Zelda would be waiting for him there too.
