It doesn't take a genius to know red is Johnny's favorite color. Which is why it feels particularly funny that he gets stuck with V, who might as well be a walking advertisement for the color red.

Johnny removes the data shard and turns to look at him, take in his visage properly. V's always been beautiful to him— pretty gold-green eyes, a tall proud nose accentuated by his septum piercing, deep scars over his cheek, full lips that Johnny gets distracted by when he talks. He aches in his chest, burns under his skin.
"You're staring," V points out. He raises an eyebrow at him, but his cheeks are starting to warm with color.
"I wouldn't have minded it."

He whirls around on Johnny again with an indecent flutter of his robe and a scandalized gasp when he catches Johnny rolling his eyes.
"Didn't say it like that," Johnny grumbles.
V sighs and shakes his head as he walks closer. "Johnny, Johnny, Johnny," he drawls. He stops short of the bed[...]. "What're we gonna do with you?"
"I've got a few ideas," Kerry says with a smirk. Johnny groans again.

Rook rumbles. It's difficult for Emmrich to settle his eyes on either his face or the necklace, and so his gaze darts nervously between both. "You want to do some 'hands-on research?'"
