Having a master of technology and the world's first android (or rather, nindroid) on the same team can make matters complicated, to say the least. After the Tournament of the Sources, Zane finds himself in need of repairs, but with Nya off chasing leads on Jay, he winds up stumbling upon Sora, pacing about in the hangar bay. The two finally make conversation over the hangar bay's repair table.

The legendary ninjas disappeared while trying to stop the merge. After years with no sign or so much as a whisper from the ninja, Arin had mostly given up hope of ever seeing his childhood heroes again. That was until he and Sora were captured by Imperium while trying to save a baby dragon.
Or… What if Riyu was not the only one trapped by Imperium in season 1 episode 1 of Dragons Rising? And what if Lloyd wasn’t there to save Arin and Sora from their claws?
Or… Lloyd is captured by Imperium to be used as their new power source. Because of this, he is not there to save Arin and Sora in the first episode.
