Summary
Lilthae (Tav) a half-drow actress/sorceress and her party defeated the Netherbrain a week ago. As the friends go their separate ways and prepare to help rebuilding Baldur's Gate (and resume their lives), Lilthae and Astarion plan to make a life together at her townhome, until her past comes (literally) knocking at the door.
This story will get very dark, please mind the tags. Currently not looking at including explicit sex scenes, but it will be implied across several relationships.

A retelling.
“How … likely is it we can chalk this up to a naughty dream?”
Dropping her hands to her lap, she squints at him. “Well, now that you’ve said it—not very likely.”
He’s still half on her bedroll where’s she’d left him, propped up on one arm, other hand massaging at his throat. It takes her a while to process the wariness in his eyes—a length of time where her silent observation of him only seems to heighten his unease.
Just to be thorough, she briefly touches her fingers to either side of her throat. When she feels only smooth skin, she sighs again, shaking her head.
“… What are you going to do?” Astarion asks in a low and quiet voice, evidently having followed her—soundlessly in the way she knows he can be when he wants to. “What are you … What are you going to tell them?”
