Summary
It is the natural law of the world that each person has at least one soulmate. The amount of bonds tied to the soul can be easily determined with how many unique symbols there are in the soulmark everyone was born with.
Just as the sun always rises every morning and the stars twinkle every night, every pair—or group—of soulmates would always have a Dreamer. For even with the unique soulmarks that would hopefully allow soulmates to recognize each other, the vastness of the planet still makes it difficult for them to find one another.
Legends say that it was Gaia’s pity, for she could not bear the thought of soulmates never finding each other. Hence, blessing each bond with a Dreamer who would be able to unite their fated souls together. After awakening in their coming of age, a Dreamer would be able to connect everyone who shares their soul bond through a shared dreamscape. It was because of this blessing, many were able to find their fated ones during their lifetime.

Genesis, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Zack were considered lucky soulmates who have found each other way before shared dreams. But that luck backfires when they could only meet their last soulmate in a space beyond sleep and reality.

Summary
For a brief moment, Lin Ling considers telling Nice about the office worker he saved today. But with the amount of weird people they meet on a daily basis, it’d be a drop of water on a hot stone. Barely worth mentioning. At most, it’d get a vague hum out of Nice, who seems far more interested in figuring out the cotton to polyester ratio of Lin Ling’s shirt with how insistently his fingers are toying with the hem of it.
Lin Ling shudders when a thumb accidentally grazes his hipbone. Nice pauses, then pulls his hand back in favour of resting his chin on Lin Ling’s shoulder, tightly securing his arms around Lin Ling’s waist once more.
Hot breath fans against his neck. “Next time,” Nice murmurs, “let me know me when you’re late.”
or: Already centre of one of the strongest hero's attention, Lin Ling manages to catch the interest of another.

Summary
Peter would consider himself almost an expert at dealing with sudden biological changes to his person.
Peter, additionally, hadn't considered this knowledge would ever come in handy again.
Forceful dimension hopping sucks bad.
Opening his eyes in a world where his DNA had been rewritten for the second time in five years, he does his best to figure out the norm of this new reality. Getting home before his dad rips a hole in the space-time continuum to find him would be nice. But then he meets some weird men who make his new-found instincts sing and that might put a wrench in his plans.
Peter might have a thing for guys who growl.
This is one of the least disturbing things he learns, somehow.

Summary
He has seen the statistics, on paper and with his own two eyes.
It was the reason why his dad refused to become a Hunter, despite being an "unofficial" S-rank.
And while his dad didn't outright prevent him from becoming a Hunter after his Awakening, he was warned, on no uncertain terms, why being a Hunter isn't all it was cut out to be.
His dad's warnings, after all, ensured his own survival numerous times, when so many others did not.
There has to be another way of doing things, a better way to prevent Hunters from walking into their deaths or permanent disability because they went in way over their heads.
As it turns out, someone else is on the same wavelength. And when two minds think alike, ripples of change are created.
