“I bet $100 I can make Oscar the happiest fake boyfriend for a month,” he repeats, holding George’s gaze proudly.
“What… ?” Oscar asks again, his eyebrows raised in what must be his most expressive face. “Wait, what ?”
George snickers, completely gone and spilling some of his drink in the grass, before answering with a shaky, “$200 you can’t.”

Summary
Michael smiled as he drove up to Daniel and Max’s farmhouse, happiness sliding into place the way it always did. It had an extra punch this time though. Home, a deep part of him insisted, finally. Michael grinned, yeah, finally, no more travelling, no more being away from the pack. He was permanently home.
There was someone waiting outside the farmhouse, Michael parked up and got out of the car, the omega smell got stronger. It was honey-sweet with hints of both Daniel and Max. The omega, Lando, Michael remembered, watched avidly as Michael approached. Lando was clad in high-cut denim shorts paired with a tie-off vest. He looked and smelled totally at home. Michael rumbled faintly, gripped by a sudden strong desire to scent the omega and breathe in the crook of his neck. He stopped dead, naturally he was used to being attracted to omegas, but it’d never felt that strong before.

The outside of the alpha house looked totally normal. The other one had looked normal too. Lando glared at the innocent facade, his hackles up. Max kept hold of his hand though and squeezed it reassuringly. Lando took a deep breath; Max smelled absolutely confident, his scent was the usual liquorice with notes of dark roast coffee beans. He wasn’t worried at all.
“We are doing this,” he told Lando, completely confidently.
“You do this all the time.”
“And now you’re doing it with me so that we can both have the good time we deserve.”

"I'm gonna find you again," Logan says, and Oscar knows it's the kind of thing people only say in movies. Two days later Logan walks into his Tuesday tutoring slot with an untouched problem set and a coffee he doesn't yet know how Oscar takes.
Or- Oscar Piastri is a sophomore stats tutor with a 4.0 and a deeply held opposition to frat boys. Logan Sargeant is a junior in Pi Kappa Alpha who is failing Quantitative Methods for Business and cannot, for the life of him, stop thinking about him. Lando is, as ever, helping.
