Tobias looked up quickly. “No. Of course not. Amarinda never fights with me. And she never grows upset with me. She is too nice for that.”

He hesitated, then said. “It is about her birthday. It is next week.”

Panic rose in Roden's voice. “What happens? You can't get us both out of here?”
I rolled my eyes toward him and threw out my hands. “Well, I am in the same boat as you are. If you want me to restart the elevator, I can't do that, Roden.”
“You can pick locks Jaron. Can't you do that to get us outside?”
That made me sigh. “I can't do that. It's not as easy as you might think it is.” I could pick locks but I had never picked the lock of an elevator before. I didn't know how to do that.
He looked away and cursed under his breath, then licked his lips. “We can't stay here forever. You must get us out of here, Jaron."

“No. I'm still in your head. Though the reason why you're imagining me should be obvious. But I see that you're too slow to realize it.”
When Roden didn't answer, a beat later Jaron grinned. “I'm king Roden. But not just king. I'm your King.”
Roden blinked at that, confused. “That's it?”
He nodded. “Yes you should already know that by now. You said so yourself when you swore your loyalty to me at the pirate camp, remember?”

After the Prozarians had left Carthya Roden wonders if he ever loved Wilta. Was it only a crush? He didn't know whom he loved. In the end somehow he always returned to Jaron no matter how hard he had tried to do otherwise. Also he had been imagining Jaron in his head a lot more lately. Even when he wasn't here. He didn't know why. Jaron told him that the answer was right before him all the time.

“So, why did you ask me to come up here? I thought you love to spend time on ledges alone at nights.”
I stared up at the stars in the sky. A bright full moon had risen tonight. A corner of my mouth turned up. “Do you know what day it is?”
That drew his attention to me. He pressed his brows together for a moment as though he was thinking, then shook his head.
The smile widened across my face as I added, “Today is the day you swore your loyalty to me as the captain of my guard Roden. It's been two years since then.”

Summary
TAS series headcanons of Jaron and his friends after the books. But without Jaron and Imogen's wedding at the end of book 5 and with Darius being his real brother. Except these two changes it is mostly canon. On a side note Imogen and Jaron are still good friends!
Oh also Kerwyn and Erick are alive here. Let's say Erick was found alive after book 4. Kerwyn too was alive as we never saw him die on page.
You can take them as your headcanons as it involves Jaron and his friends' daily lives after books but Jaron is happy with his found family of friends and brothers. Also the fics in this series are connected sometimes but all can be read as standalone.

“That’s right,” chuckled Soobin. “But do you know how it started? It started here, in this room. From a boy who used to fold a paper heart every day for his lost love, hoping each one he makes will take him closer to the day those eyes would open again.”
"Unfortunately for him, the day never came."
In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.
