Summary
Gary pets Umbreon when he hears Ash’s phone vibrate. He curiously looks up at Ash, who quickly fishes his phone out of his pocket – his already sad smile weakens at the name written on it. Gary doesn’t notice any typing back, Ash just nervously hides the phone back into his hoodie.
“Ashy?”, Gary asks worriedly, a lot of concern in his eyes, but the aforementioned boy just shakes his head.
“It’s nothing, we should be going back to Pallet Town, yeah?”
Gary sighs but doesn’t question anything – at least for now. He already had more than enough patience for Ash today, and he can only hope that Ash really knows what he’s doing like he’s claiming to.
And Ash genuinely thinks he knows what he’s doing. It will be for the better, right? Deep down, he knows it won’t. Just don’t regret it later, Gary’s words ring in his head. And he already regrets it. He’s about to make the dumbest decision ever, and he doesn’t stop himself from doing that anyway.

Okay I can't even complain because I love angst...
But holy Arceus, THIS HURTS.
Maybe I'm just extremely invested in Ash and Goh's relationship, but man Ash's decision hit home in a way.
I don't remember exactly why he chose to ignore Goh again, but I have a bit of an idea?Ash's decision strongly reminds me of my old childhood decision as well.. We choose and then we regret.. Ash you're such a dummy for that.. And poor Goh, I FEEL BOTH OF THEM SO MUCH.
The way none of them wanted to part shatters my heart.. I WAS WAITING FOR ONE OF THEM TO BE LIKE, "Please stay! Don't go.. " But it's an angst fanfiction at the end...
It's interesting that this chapter is within Ash's point of view too. We see his distress and thought process, and it's really tricky to understand him in a way. It's like a fight between what you want versus what is best? But we know that Ash's decision wasn't the best for him.. But j also do think Ash closing off was bound to come, considering love is still VERY new to him.

Summary
“Did you maybe skip the part where you both got together and already got married?”, she asks, no longer paying attention to the book she was just reading. Goh chokes on the juice he was drinking and looks at her with a confused look.
“I just mean, a wedding invitation would be nice”, she says, pretending to be offended.
“Chloe, stop! You know we’re not together!”, Goh says, a little bit too quietly, like he would be afraid of Ash hearing his words.
“Yeah?, Chloe asks. “That explains why Ash would be bathing your own Pokemon. That’s actually pretty self-explanatory”, she jokes and focuses on the book again, even if she already read it a hundred times.

OKAY SO let's talk about Chloe's EXTREME perception lately... Gohsscorbunny...
THE WAY YOU WRITE CHLOE AHHHHHH-
She's literally the best wing girl, I can't..
I love how teasing she is with Goh, like she WOULD NOT leave Goh alone! (positive way) But I also like how straightforward she is with the both of them. Not only that, but how considerate and sweet her feelings are about both boys. She definitely cares for both Goh and Ash.. I especially love her remarks about both Ash and Goh's stubbornness! 😭I also really like how sappy Ash is..
To be honest I like this interpretation of inlove Ash better. It definitely suits him a lot better than just being cold about it? He's childish, but also so curious and willing to learn anything that bothers him. He's also kinda stupid about love? However seeing him develop through it is really fun. I love Ash's point of view.. ESPECIALLY the part where he asks Chloe for the 'In a Fairytale Book' so be can read it.. THAT made me so giddy... LIKE I can imagine him reading it and learning a couple things from it. Especially to understand how love works and how to act with Goh about it. I don't know but I really imagine him actually being a knight in shining armor to Goh more often!😭This was overall a sweet story about two stubborn boys dealing with love for the first time.. And their other friend trying to tie the love noose for them.. ..

Summary
“Look who it is, the cry baby” one boy said and the rest of the classmates started to laugh.
Chloe wanted to say something, but instead, she looked up at Goh, who visibly tensed next to her and started to shake a little. He fisted his shaking hand and kept looking at the ground. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down though and whispered under his breath please, ignore them, Chloe.
Chloe nodded her head and tried her hardest to ignore the whole thing, even if it was hard to do so. They’re almost at the Laboratory anyway and Goh’s gonna be safe and sound soon. The classmate didn’t give up on targeting Goh though and continued to make some mean comments.
“What’s up, loser?”, the same boy said again mockingly, passing them by.
“Hey, don’t call him that!”, Chloe has had enough, and tried to defend her friend, but the classmate wasn’t phased by it.
“Because what? He’s gonna cry like a cry baby again?”, the boy laughed.
Chloe looked at Goh who started to shake, he already had tears in his eyes and even a few had already fallen.
“Look, he already started to cry, he’s such a loser”, the boy said mockingly again and pushed Goh onto the ground.

OKAY SO, I have a few things to say...
One, I LOVE LOVE the way Chloe's character is written here!
Normally I'm used to her being written indifferent, sassy and nonchalant.. Especially inconsiderate? But throughout the series this fic comes from, Chloe is written in a sweet manner with a bit of sassiness that I REALLY LIKEEE. I do feel she was a bit nerfed in the show.. But at least I can cope like this yes!The other aspect I love is Ash's care for Goh. I love how tender and loving he is with Goh, especially after knowing his trauma.. AHHHHHHH, it reminds me a lot of someone I'll never see again, but it's alright. I think the moment that stood out to me the most was when he offer to be hurted instead of letting Goh hurt himself. THAT LEGIT BROKE ME😭😭 because it felt like handling a very hurt wild animal.. But also because I'm an extreme Goh kin and imagining having someone like Ash helped you like that.. Reminded me of said person.
LASTLY, I do like the exploration of God's character trauma. I do agree the show pretty much butchered that possibility... But I like how the author redeemed that and put a twist of their own? I do think Goh was bullied as a kid in a way, but I don't think that was what affected him as much? I guess I'm looking it in my lengths, but I feel like Goh was probably very perceptive and in tune with a lot it things kids usually aren't therefore having him feel an extreme loneliness.. Especially with the school part, I guess he didn't feel much purpose going to school, people didn't really mind for him, (except Chloe) he wasn't liked as much, there wasn't things to be interested about.. Etc.. So I guess he found school valueless, prompting him to have extreme loneliness issues.. But that's just a but of my take?
BUT I STILL LOVE THIS FIC and the entire series too..💔💔

I can never get enough of this author. Even if this fic has been up for relatively a couple of years, I can't help but fall in love with it!! Like this author actually makes extremely good fireknight content. Okay so first things first, I love the plot. Even if it was quite short, the story of knight attempting to find fire spirit and keep the kingdom at peace is actually really neat. I've seen some fics with a similar plot choice, but didn't fully go through with it. The next things is the deep dive into Knight's trauma from the Pitaya fight. I knew that people speculated about Knight's pet being Pitaya's tail. However, I never considered their conflict and Knight's point of view. Last point, KUDOS to this fic for including Princess Cookie as a supporting character. I love how the author writes Princess Cookie, makes her character quite fun! Just to reassure, the character's personalities aren't necessarily OOC but more canon put into non-canon situations. (What I mean is, the characters aren't turn into full fanon unlike some I've seen. Even if they do have some parts that doesn't seem 'fitting', I love it regardless!) GALAXYACERA I LOVE YOU FOR THIS FOOD!!

The continuation of Forget-Me-Not, and oh my God it gets better and not to mention the resolution! The fact that we get more intell on how Patty feels about Ouma and what he means to him! The amount of care some if this characters have for Ouma absolutely shatters my heart. However, this chapter contains the good part and the happy ending. The resolution where Shuichi confesses to Ouma and I have tso ay that was to Impactful to me. From the beginning of part 2, we explore Shuichi's more erratic side as to how he feels about Ouma. Especially since he is now fully aware he's in love with him. Not only that, but everyone's dedication in finding Ouma. Oh how the tables have turned. Rhyllow I love you for this fic.
