“It’s just, correct me if I’m wrong, dear… But, I can’t help but notice that you’re rather… shall we say, ‘determined’ about this little project.”

After all these years, there were some things they just didn’t talk about. Crowley never spoke about the Fall, had never mentioned his origins, except for just that once, in Bethlehem.

    Summary

“Hey, you wanna go out in the garden and see Brother Francis?”
Warlock peeked above his arms, and Crowley held up the trousers, temptingly. On sudden impulse, Warlock kicked at his Nanny, catching the offending clothing around one leg and flailing till the trousers were whipped from her hands.
    “Impressive,” Crowley admitted.
“Too sad!” The boy said, despairingly.
“You’re too sad? Too sad for what, Hellspawn?”

    Summary

Adam and Warlock spend spring break with their Godfathers, and make a plan to uncover the demon's True Form. Adam had been thinking about it all night, and he announced the next morning that they would almost certainly have to anger him. He suggested either scratching the Bentley or making fun of Aziraphale. Warlock strongly objected to both tactics, saying that awakening The Beast would not be worth it if they both ended up dead.

    Summary

This was apparently one of those sleeps. Aziraphale hated those sleeps, because one never knew how long they’d last. He would only find out about them later on, after he’d sat around, lonely and miffed for weeks or years or decades.

He wondered whether his presence was an intrusion, a violation of Crowley’s privacy. But this time, they’d had plans! Also, Aziraphale had just worn Crowley’s body for almost a full day, which had been rather… intimate. So, in that light, he felt somewhat justified barging in. Now, he was standing in Crowley’s private sanctuary, watching him sleep.
    He should go.
    Crowley was so lovely.
    He should definitely go.

    Summary

Crawly rested his cheek on Aziraphale’s downy hair. Somehow, the angel still smelled of sunlight and grass even though they hadn’t seen either of those things in weeks. He felt Aziraphale shudder a little as the tension left him, and Crawly blew out the candle.

    Summary

The first Arrangement, proposed in 537 A.D (“It would be easier if we both stayed home…”), was fundamentally different from the Arrangement that would be formally adopted close to three hundred years later.
The Black Knight goes too fast!

    OR
How Crowley unwittingly caused the Fall of Camelot. I mean… totally purposefully, with great cleverness and evil intent. He did cause the Fall of Man, after all, so bringing down a kingdom was nothing.

    Summary

They attend the opening performance of Romeo and Juliet, and it hits a little too close to home.
    --
It all starts out so innocently, “palm to palm” in the first act. Then, it’s nothing but a torturous, slow descent toward heartbreak and oblivion. Aziraphale could see the writing on the wall, and he refused the fate which was playing out before them. Unfortunately, Crowley wasn’t going to understand, and simply could not be trusted to keep himself in check. The soft-hearted demon sniffling at his side was nothing but a liability. It was all going to be up to him.

    Summary

Aziraphale and Crowley meet in Ireland in the 5th century and enjoy themselves a little too much. For a short time, Aziraphale lets go of the idea of sin and Crowley gets really into faeries.

    Summary

“Can I tempt you to break into a bottle of that Châteauneuf-du-Pape?” Crowley glanced over, from where he lay sprawled on the couch, and wondered how quickly his angel would give in this time.
Aziraphale looked Crowley dead in the eyes and shook his head. He answered, in an unexpectedly firm voice, “No.”

Aziraphale has something important to say. He's been thinking about it. He's worked up the courage for it. Unfortunately, Crowley isn't going to want to hear this.

    Summary

Raising Warlock may just be an extension of the Arrangement, but it has allowed Aziraphale and Crowley to spend precious time together (most of it spent in character as their alter egos) before the world comes to an end.
The demonic and angelic "push-and-pull" has also had some weird side effects on the kid!

    Summary

The night after saving the world, Aziraphale freaks out a little. Partly because he could have lost his best friend, but also because ‘heavenly’ things seem to have a disastrous effect on demons. Crowley desperately tries to shake his angel out of it, which leads to a good idea.

    Summary

Although sitting on opposite sides of a park bench is all very nice, Crowley makes a radical suggestion. Aziraphale says no, obviously, and then reaches for the only objection he can think of. After hearing the same blasted argument for 6000 years, Crowley loses his cool.

    Summary

After their last heated argument, Crowley has been sleeping for a while. He pops back in, unexpectedly, to check on Aziraphale, only to find that the angel has lately been enjoying life... and frequenting a discrete gentleman's club. Something new and positively earth-shattering has been happening, and Aziraphale had been swept up in it. Has Crowley ever heard of the Gavotte!?

Crowley isn't used to being jealous of humans.

    Summary

Crowley really doesn't like the 14th century, in fact, he drank and slept through most of it. Aziraphale is worried about him and goes looking, only to find a demon who isn't depressed... certainly not. But can either of them sense what the other is really feeling?
