The voice in his ear tells him that he’s Tony Stark and he’s a hero… If that’s true, why does he have to run away from the ‘good guys’? The more he learns, the more he starts to think there’s a better way to go about doing things. And, really, who better to help him take down HYDRA than the Avengers? He just has to convince them it's not a plot to kill them first.
