After the failure of his plan to make Batman choose between him and The Joker, Jason has to pull his life back together. After recovering from his injuries he has to figure out what the hell to do with the criminal empire he built. At the same time, the Bat Family is wondering why Bruce has been so quiet since his fight with the Red Hood.
That leads to Tim wondering where the cowl footage from that night went, and Barbara sharing what she thought was news with the family.
Also, the people of Crime Alley love Jason.

Summary
Death wasn't a friend, calling you for a game of tag—though it certainly ran towards you. It wasn't a mother, with soft hands and a comforting touch. And it wasn't a father, taking you into it's arms and tucking you to bed once you fell asleep on the couch again.
No, it was early in life, earlier than he would like to admit, that Jason Todd found the truth about it.
Death was cold, merciless. It wasn't delicate. It was painful. It took mothers in the middle of the night, thrashing and agonizing as the drugs finally ceased her heart. And it took children, far from home, as they begged for someone to come and help, being left alone with the sound of laughter and metal breaking skin, and the absence of the ringing one would hear after an explosion.
So yes, it could be said Jason knew everything there was to know about death. He had seen it on others, had been through it himself. What he didn't know was what came after.
Or: The Lazarus Pit has some side effects and Jason forgets to mention it to his family.

“Whoa, Jesus Christ! Someone got it out for you this week?” The guy’s hands go up; his stance doesn’t much change. “I’m not here to mess with you, man, I just need to talk. Look, just — I’m gonna get my hood and this is all gonna get a lot clearer, okay?”
“Move slow,” Jason orders. The hair is standing up on the back of his neck; the tip of his tongue itches with an answer to a question he hasn’t guessed. There’s something almost-not-quite familiar about this guy, who is moving slow as ordered but way too casual for a guy being threatened by the Red —
— he pulls back his hood on Jason’s own face.
Jason's thought, a lot, about what his life might have looked like if he hadn't died that day. He didn't expect to ever get a clear-cut answer, and when he gets one, it doesn't look like he thought it would.
Or: a story about grieving the life you might have had.
