Or: February, 1950. The United States stumbles upon unsettling evidence of a Russian Super Soldier Program. Under the command of Director Peggy Carter, the nascent Strategic Homeland Enforcement, Intervention, and Logistics Division, known colloquially as SHIELD, sends its best to investigate. What follows can only be called a case study in petty grievances, technological difficulties, and a never-ending problem by the name of 'Jack Thompson.' At least, that's what Daniel Sousa thinks. But who knows? Perhaps, with a lot of Avgas and even more patience, STRIKE Team Alpha just might change the course of history.
