Summary
Gifting someone a stethoscope at a milestone was very traditional, he knew, but some traditions should be observed. They kept you anchored to something greater than yourself. And this one was just...warm. Jack always thought of the people who'd given him his steths—Colonel Jacquemin, who'd gifted him his first Littmann when he finished residency, or Lizzie, who'd given him his current Littmann III when Adamson hired him as an attending. It was a reminder of the people who loved you, believed in you, helped you along the way, a physical token of those you carried with you.
Sure, maybe it wasn't exactly Jack's place to give one to Robby, more properly the domain of family or mentors. If Adamson had lived to retire, he would've gifted Robby a steth to celebrate his promotion, Jack was sure. Robby's family was gone, so that wasn't an option, and Jack would be damned if Robby's elevation to one of the highest posts in their field would go uncelebrated.

Summary
“Jack,” she answered, nodding toward the window in Robby’s view. “He’s one of the most in-demand Doms here.”
Robby turned his full attention back to the room, shaking his head minutely at a creeping awareness as he took another look at the Dom’s build, his salt-and-pepper curls. The freckles dotting his fair skin. It wasn’t possible—
Then the Dom shifted his position, and Robby let out a shocked noise that attracted the attention of the others in his vicinity. The Dom in the play room—with his perfect composure and steady command—was Jack.

Summary
Jack Abbot kissed me three days ago.
///
After Heather, he swore he would never date another coworker again. The breakup wasn’t easy, and their interactions were so awkward and tense for a while. The effects were felt throughout the Pitt. Not that he wants to date Jack. No. Absolutely not. The kiss was a mistake. It was the beer and a trauma response. They’ve been gravitating to each other more lately, needing each other.
///
Robby told himself he was not going to date anyone after Dr. Collins. He also carries a mental List in his mind of all the people whom he's wronged or he fears he disappointed or cannot help. He can't possibly explore any feelings he may have for the night shift attending. No, not until The List is whittled down or gone.
What could happen if The List is completed? Could he make an exception for the younger attending? Old habits are hard to break. It seems like Jack Abbot could just be the thing that Robby needs.

Summary
Crowley sits up with a gasp, his eyes flying open. He is met by a familiar pair of blue eyes, snow white hair, and a look of shock.
Six thousand years and change come flooding back. Six thousand years and change plus ninety-six, ninety-six, a good half or more of those together, all in a jumble.
They stare at each other as the jumble, no doubt echoed in those blue eyes, carefully sorts itself, and the shock quickly morphs into joy.
“Angel,” Crowley breathes.
--
They meet again in the same place they said goodbye.
