Marinette was just a normal girl, with a normal life. A very clumsy and preternaturally accident-prone normal girl, but still. After another particularly exhausting first day of school, she finds a mysterious jewelry box on her desk. And now she has powers and carries the magic of a creation deity in a pair of earrings with a ladybug print. It seems like she's not a normal girl anymore.
