It started with a dumb question at a party. Joy loved braiding, Nina had really pretty hair. It didn't mean anything. Usually, Joy tried to keep her distance from Nina, but their paths were clearly destined to cross. They had the same birthday, shared the same cosmic destiny, even loved the same boy at one point or another. More than friends or less than friends — they were meant to be something.
