Summary

Summary
Anakin goes on a date he expected to be awkward, transactional, and over the moment the credits are mentioned.
Instead, he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi— a man who is unexpectedly attentive, disarmingly gentle, and far too good at making Anakin forget what he's supposed to be. What starts as a delicately negotiated arrangement quickly turns into something neither of them handles cleanly.
And Anakin is no longer sure where the boundaries of the arrangement are, or whether he ever really wanted them in the first place.

Just then the air fills with a crackling noise and the awful sound of tearing flesh as the wings tore their way out of skin, ripping slits into his tunics, they rise rapidly, like stalagmites, creaking, the points turning into feathers before they snapped open and anakin's scream cut off mid-cry.
The council room was enveloped with pregnant silence, waiting to erupt into chaos but there's silence, eerily quiet. Anakin's heavy breathing and choked sobs the only sound they could hear.
Anakin's wings come out in full glory, and they are not what any of them imagined they'd be and for reasons whispered against each other's skin, secret from all the world to know.

Where a knighting is when jedi's wings come out, it's important just like their kyber crystal, reflecting their soul. A showing of sorts, whether they are corrupted or jedi. That decides their rise or fall. And obi-wan and anakin are crucial for one another to decide what fate befalls them.(Obikin)
