He was feeling good about today. He had gotten a replacement SDN shirt, which was currently his only one without coffee stains on the collar, and he had a few extra bills in his pocket so that he could have a twinkie with his morning caffeine fix.
Suddenly, he stopped. Stood in the middle of the sidewalk. Beef tugged against his leash, barking against the sudden stillness of his owner.
Why was he still here?
He shook it off to continue course to his day job. He really wanted that damn twinkie. He really wanted not to think about it.

Summary
After major changes shift Sam's life- they come to the farm their grandfather had gifted them so many years ago. The town is bustling with lively and joyful people, and yet they can't help but feel unsatisfied even still. Maybe they always would.
That is, until they meet the town's drunk.
