It sounds like a weird achievement. To be fair, when he was a kid, and his teacher asked him to come up with something he’d want to do or be when he’s older, he wouldn’t have said: ‘Mrs Jang, when I grow up, I want to have a vampire live with me 24/7!’ Yet, here he is. And he’s oddly fulfilled with his achievement, too. Most people who come across his extremely scary, intimidating, terrifying vampire would get their souls sucked out of them, but not Subong. Nah, Subong’s the exception.

Shit. Maybe he should make it up to the new neighbor. He could maybe try to put himself in the guy’s shoes. But he doesn’t really do all that crap.
“Alright.” He says, stubbing the cigarette out with a shaky hand. “Let me go talk to him.”
Semi’s eyebrows practically shoot off her forehead. “What? Now?”
Thanos nods. “Yeah. Go apologize.” The word tastes so sour and foreign in his mouth he practically gags on it.
Semi just stares at him, “You? Apologize?”
Thanos swings his legs off the bed, ignoring her. “It’s damage control.”
“You punched a wall,” she mutters.
He rubs his face. “Yeah, so it’s double damage control.”
Semi watches him wobble to his feet like a newborn baby deer. “Thanos, you’re still drunk.”
“And hungover. It’s a multitasking day,” he says, waving her off as he reaches for his hoodie. He grimaces at the dried blood on the sleeve. Whatever.
Semi squints. “Do you even know what you’re gonna say?”
Thanos pauses. Thinks. Then shrugs. “Something… neighborly.”
Semi groans into her hands. “This is going to be a fucking disaster.”
“Wish me luck,” he mutters.
“No,” Semi says immediately. “Luck won’t save you.”

Thanos’ eyes burn the most, Namgyu swears he hasn’t blinked once. The phone is still clutched in his palm, ready to dial, ready to call this whole thing off.
“So what’s the problem? Do you not want to help Thanos?” Semi sneers.
Namgyu has to awkwardly laugh, otherwise he thinks he might throw up. “It’s not that, it’s just- shouldn’t you get a girl to do it instead? The song is about chasing after a girl.”
That has to do the trick right?
Semi looks at him once over, “you look girly enough to me.”
Or: Namgyu gets forced into being Thanos’ dance partner! Like any good friend, who wouldn’t agree to grind on your friend on stage?

Day 7 & 8: Proposal / Free DayHe hears it before he sees anything—Soo-yeon’s voice, with an edge underneath it that Nam-gyu has learned to identify as confusion she won’t admit to.
“I’m sorry, who?”
Nam-gyu turns to see what’s going on.
Thanos is at the entrance. Not the full production he usually brings through the door. His two friends flank him. No girls tonight, Nam-gyu notices, and ignores the little thing in his chest that’s happy about it.
Thanos is talking to Soo-yeon with a pleasant, uncomplicated expression, like whatever he’s saying is perfectly reasonable.
“My fiancé,” Thanos says again, unhelpfully. “He works here. My Nam-gyu.”

Realistically, he owes an apology. A huge one, but what is he even supposed to say? 'Sorry for dipping on you, after you sort of asked me to be your Valentine. Are we cool?' "When did you start working here?" He asks instead, desperately latching onto some other topic.
It's not taken well. "Are you seriously trying to make conversation right now?" At all.
"I—maybe?" He's trying his best, despite being at a loss.
"You're a fucking asshole, Thanos. You're taking up space in my bar, pretending like nothing's wrong with you being here." Namgyu practically snarls at him. It feels so wrong to hear the name Thanos come from his voice.
It's not like he came here knowing that this was Namgyu's workplace, "I know. It's just crazy seeing—"
"Fuck you."

Nam-gyu’s face burned as he took a seat in the furthest corner of the café possible, hiding his shame in the shadows (not that there were any—this damn café was all pastel walls and bright lights). He would’ve been perfectly happy with a greasy ham croissant from that dumb Starbucks right about now. Even if the baristas there couldn’t understand what he was saying, at least they wouldn’t be intimately familiar with his husband’s sexual deviancy.

Even if everyone in the world thought that Su-bong was weird, at least he had Nam-gyu. Sure, Nam-gyu thought he was weird too, he said as much plenty of times over the course of the decade they’d known each other, but he made it abundantly clear that he liked how weird Su-bong was. When Nam-gyu would say that, threading his fingers through Su-bong’s hair and giving him one of his gorgeous feline smiles, Su-bong didn’t mind all that much that he was abnormal. If Nam-gyu liked it, maybe it was a good thing.

In hindsight, it was a really stupid thing to say. In Nam-gyu’s defense, however, he’d probably had his brain scrambled one (or a billion) too many times from falling off his skateboard that day and was likely suffering from permanent brain damage, therefore unable to form coherent thoughts before his big mouth just ran on its own.
That was the only way to really justify it, anyway. But even after the words slipped from his mouth, he immediately grew hot from embarrassment. At least he had enough brain cells left to be aware of just how stupid it was.
Because seriously, why the hell would he offer to bang Su-bong?

Thanos notices that his younger brother is getting bullied. So, he promises him that he will beat the shit out of the guy who keeps pestering him.
They made a simple plan, Minsu lures the bully into an alley way where Thanos is at so he can teach the prick a lesson about messing with Minsu.
Everything was going smoothly until he made eye contact with the bully, Thanos felt his heart thump hard against his ribs, he felt a pang through his heart. Like an arrow from Cupid himself.
OR:
Thanos falls MADLY in love with his brothers bully and tries his best to "fix" him and even out his relationship with his brother at the same time.

Because now that Nam-gyu thought about it properly – not in a queue of sporadic thoughts that held no connection to each other, but in a more consecutive way – relationships didn’t always have to be complicated. He loved Su-bong, and Su-bong, oh, how he loved him in return! He was never afraid to show it in any way he only knew, and Nam-gyu’s heart never knew bigger joy than the one he felt watching Su-bong’s eyes shimmer with happiness. Of course, like any relationship, theirs required work and effort. But if they both were working on it, what was the problem?
Or five times Su-bong took care of Nam-gyu, and one time Nam-gyu took care of Su-bong.

His hair fell wet over his face. He could barely make out someone in front of him, calling his name. He heard something along the lines of "breathe, bro." He closed his eyes and shakily inhaled. Slowly. In and out, in and out.
Thanos stayed in front of him. He stayed and stared at him, awestruck.

As Nam-gyu finishes his breakfast, a sudden knock on the doorframe startles him. He looks up to see a nurse, a young man he's never met before, standing in the doorway. He greets him with a cheerful "Good morning!" as he steps inside. “It’s nice to meet you! Oh, um, I’m here to give you your morning medication.”
He bows deeply, careful not to spill the paper cups in his hands. “I’m Park Min-su; I’ll be working here from now on." Nam-gyu doesn’t bow back, eyes him instead, sizing him up. He’s smaller in stature than Nam-gyu himself and remarkably plain to look at. Cute in a run-of-the-mill way, a little pudgy. He sounds nervous despite his cheery tone.
Nam-gyu nods, never one for the pleasantries that came with new nurses. It just meant explaining the same things for the hundredth time. “I know they probably gave you another name to call me... Just use Nam-gyu.”

He doesn't know how he manages to do it, between her broken ankle, post-partum condition, and the withdrawals wracking his body, but he does it. If only to make Myung-gi angry, Nam-gyu does it. And then he sticks by her side, even once the game is over. Just to make Myung-gi angry. That's what he says.
