Tsurumi peers down at him with the tender concern of a nervous parent, and the professionalism reanimates his various tissues, filling him with the pleasant warmth of being the smartest man in the room.

    “Yes, I think it might be for the better,” he says, “Especially if you’re well-accquainted. It helps to build an environment of trust.”

    Tsurumi brightens.

    “Trust!” He exclaims, taking both of Higasa’s hands in a warm squeeze. “Yes, that’s exactly the thing! I’m sure that we can come to an understanding, we three. In an environment of trust.”

    Private Usami's medical exam turns up some highly anomalous results; Tsurumi investigates. Personally.
