He could hear the faint sound of music playing as he opened the door; it was no surprise that Valentino had arrived first, Vox couldn’t respect him if he hadn’t and given up the upper hand that easily after how carefully this evening had been arranged. Still, it made his stomach flip with unfamiliar nerves, knowing that the owner of that strangely seductive voice was waiting inside for him.
