Joel is incredibly, startlingly human. He feels so much all the time it's overwhelming.Needless to say, being soul-bound together and feeling each other's souls and emotions... it's a learning experience!

Summary
Etho is red. After his betrayal of the boogie army, revenge was taken against him.
And the void itself (which is technically Etho too) knows that the Watchers will find this amusing.
After all, what's funner than playing with your prey- the prey that's meant to be stronger than you yet fails? What's funner than taking those loyalties and twisting them, twisting and twisting, until your prey snaps in half from the stress?
After all, Etho had always been loyal to a fault.

“Gah! Where the hell did you come from? Who are you?” someone shouts from beside him. Etho's head snaps to the side and he meets eyes with a man who definitely was not there a moment ago.
The man sitting across the pond from him has dark hair, tan skin, and huge dark eyes that shine in the moonlight. More interesting even than the fact that he apparently appeared out of thin air, are his rounded ears and dull teeth. Etho has never seen a human without the glazed look of a Taken's servitude before.

Summary
Etho attends a convention, one that many of his friends are also attending. None of them know that he's going, and he doesn't want them to know. That is, until Etho sees a chance at catching a few of them in person. Specifically, he gets to see Bdubs. How could he resist?
This came out of my fantasizing about the two of them meeting in person. :)

Bdubs pauses, and Etho sees that flash across his eyes; something like embarrassment. Flushed on his face. “Well—Yeah, mostly. I mean, I figure — I don’t wanna rush you or nothin’, and then after a couple years I guessed you probably weren’t interested but you never told me to clear off so that’s just us, then, the flirting. The joking around about you being my wife, my boyfriend, the divorces and what have you.”
“Right,” Etho says.
“And it didn’t mean nothin’, ‘cept the two of us being us.”
Etho pauses. He looks up at the ceiling — not quite able to meet Bdubs eyes — and twirls a strand of dark curls around his finger. “I mean, I think that meant something. Since it was us.”

There he is. And Dean is so torn. His bottom lip wants to wobble around fat tears at the same time he wants to be defensive. Warring between the urges to either run to the other side of the bench to kneel at Cas’s feet- get a good look at that face- or to grab him by the scruff of his neck and demand to know what he thought he was doing by pulling a stunt like this. In his confusion, all that Dean does is stare at the cowlick of Cas’s dark hair.
I’m right here, the memories in him call out. Castiel, I finally caught up to you.
Dean flattens the noise of them under the heel of his boot.

Slowly, Mystery Man raises his head. And when his eyes meet Dean’s again, they are so full that Dean is nearly leveled by it. Just. There’s love there, affection, fondness, all in that haunted cornflower blue. They’re greedy, too, like they’re consuming every detail. Dean forgets to breathe. “You sure this guy ain’t dead?” he manages. “Cause you’re looking at me like the last time you saw his mug was ten years ago.”
Mystery Man inhales sharply but doesn’t so much as blink. “He’s very much alive. He made pancakes this morning.” No further elaboration.
“Right…” Dean says a little awkwardly. “Well, since this is happening, apparently, what’s your name?”
Now, Mystery Man hesitates, frowns. Finally, he says, “My name is Cas.”

Summary
The first time Mumbo sees Grian's wings, it's at the start of Season 6 and they've just come out of the portal. His feathers are pearlescent with bright blue at the edges, flecks of purple hidden within them that he can only see when he's close.
(He brings this up one time at Sahara, and Grian merely gives him a thoughtful look before shrugging and returning to building.)
The first time Mumbo sees Grian in Season 7, his wings are a completely different color. It wouldn't be so strange, he supposes, if Scar saw the same thing as he did. But he doesn't.

Summary
When Castiel was ten years old, he was cursed to always be obedient.

Summary
Lady Gemini, a historical thriller by the technical perfectionist director Cleo, is going to be the biggest summer blockbuster of 1989. It’s going to go head to head with Hotguy: Armageddon, the fifth title in rival director Jevin’s hugely popular Hotguy saga. In response to Jevin’s declaration that his film will boast the latest in computer generated technological effects, Cleo promises that her film will have more impressive stunt work than any of Jevin’s previous superhero films.
That’s where Bdubs comes in. He knows horses, and he especially knows how to do stunts with horses. Cleo puts him to the task of training her A-list star, typecast heartthrob Etho, how to ride a horse. It proves to be more of a wild ride than Bdubs originally thought it would be, not just because prettyboy actor Etho knows absolutely nothing about horses.

Summary
Being a Jedi was tough work, in Bdubs' opinion. Especially when one is Force bonded to a Sith Apprentice without one's knowledge or consent for the first eighteen years of their life. So, when one meets this Sith, it is bound to come as quite a shock.
