Goro looks from the thermometer to Ren, then back to the thermometer.“It says 39°C,” he announces.
“No way…” Ren groans into a pillow. He’s still laying in bed, half turned on his stomach with the sheet tangled around his legs.
Goro grabs his phone from its charging spot on the nightstand and starts typing a quick email.
“What are you doing…” Ren mumbles. Goro looks up to see his husband peeking at him through a small opening between the pillow and his wild curls.
“...Notifying my colleagues that I will be working from home today,” Goro answers, his eyes flicking back to his phone screen before his heart rate gets too affected by Ren’s cute antics. He sends the message and sets the phone back on the nightstand.
