Lan Wangji had long since stopped thinking of Wei Wuxian's body as Mo Xuanyu's. He grew used to all the ways it was different and the same from the last. But slowly, surely, now that they were comfortable, Wei Wuxian's face had begun to change again. The lines of his jaw became a slightly smudged drawing. Not all together unfamiliar, just enough that Lan Wangji second-guessed his own memory. There was one night Lan Wangji came home to find Wei Wuxian's eyes had changed color. He woke one morning and was taller, his silhouette stretching and growing like a shadow cast against the wall.
His smile was the same. The way he pouted, and slept in, the way he kissed. His terrible jokes. Lan Wangji would get used to a new face too if the husband was still the same.

Or, the one where Wei Wuxian's face begins to change to look like his original body. It isn't easy on anyone. But it isn't so bad, either.

And a little voice in the back of his head — the twin’s voice, with that soft cadence and slight accent — said was that just because you didn’t have me?

Summary
White’s father had been telling him to forget about his brother for the past ten years. “I’m sure Black has forgotten about you by now,” he’d say. As if. He knew his brother would be a stranger, but it was still his brother. Black would be happy to see him again after ten years, maybe fondly exasperated that it had been so long.
He didn’t think Black would look at him with absolutely no recognition. But their father was right. Black had long since forgotten him, twelve years of childhood memories completely erased when White left.
Black didn’t even know he had a brother, anymore.

White drowned himself in the river and his brother didn’t come. He lost count of the times he drowned himself before he realized Black wasn’t ever going to come get him. Black clearly didn’t want White around. And White wanted his brother to be happy, and this was what his brother wanted, so White went back to his father.
Now Black didn’t want his baby brother to be hurt, but he wanted him safe. And White went home, which was all Black ever wanted, so why did everything feel so fucking wrong?

“So. What was that?” Wei Wuxian asked Jiang Cheng. The scene, was, after all, quite common.
His brother let out the longest, weariest, most dramatic sigh he possibly could and knocked back his cup of tea as if it was alcohol.
“That,” he said, slamming the cup back on the table, “is the second coming of Jin Zixuan.”In which Jin Ling inherited his father's romance skills and Wei Wuxian feels compelled to step in and help the kids out (also Jiang Cheng asked him to).

Even as he said the words, his gut was telling him he was asking the wrong person, that this was not the Black he wanted to say the words to. Black looked away momentarily and seemed to be thinking of something before his eyes were back on Sean. He stood, sauntered over to the taller man and grabbing the lapel of his jacket, bringing him in for a kiss.
It was at that moment, that Sean has his answer, because these lips, they were not the ones he had kissed earlier that day.
Or, Sean is suspicious the second he pulls up beside Black's bike when he was ready to confess.

Sean thought about this. Really thought about it, for once. Beyond the frustration of Black continuing to dance around the point. Beyond the anger he’d been holding to since last night, when he’d felt betrayed. Beyond the constant itch these past few months of knowing Black was keeping a secret and not being able to figure out what it was. Beyond the sting of having been so vulnerable with someone who was so reluctant to do the same.
"Okay," he said. "I'm listening."
In which Sean isn't just like "oh, yeah, seems fine, we'll just move right past that" when White basically has a heart attack and crashes the bike in episode 11 and instead is like "dude what??".
