“Did I say the wrong thing?"
Aziraphale took a deep breath. He could feel those golden eyes on him, awaiting his answer and Aziraphale almost couldn’t bear to look. When he finally turned after a moment of garnering all the strength left in his body, he choked on his breath. He stared at Crowley; he was vulnerable and open and more beautiful than the heavens themselves were. Aziraphale had dreamed of seeing him so open for so long, but not like this, never like this. It was a sickening reminder of how he looked when Aziraphale left him for heaven, teary-eyed and hanging on the edge. Aziraphale could see the realisation etched on the demon's face, a resolute decision cemented in his mind. Aziraphale swallowed, his throat very dry as he digested what Crowley was asking of him.
Not this time
"Yes!" He didn't mean for it to come out as a yell, but it did "Yes, you absolutely did."
OR
Aziraphale does not respond kindly to Crowley's suggestion to save the universe.

Here they were again, at the end of the world, and Aziraphale wished he had taken the opportunity to love Crowley before. They could have had decades together, being us, but it was too late now. Everything hung on a metaphorical edge of a knife, and they had to come to an agreement before the Almighty made the decision without them. Crowley had never looked as beautiful to Aziraphale as he looked now, leaning against the apple tree and not meeting his gaze.

Can you get drunk on kissing?
Crowley sure feels like it as the control of his human shaped tongue slips away in its exploration of Aziraphale's mouth.
The added dexterity, smell and taste of ozone and soot are a nice bonus to human corporations, in his subjective opinion.
It's soft and wet and messy and so full of 6000 years of pushed back fervor that the all surrounding taste and smell and feel of Aziraphale's returned affection drowns out his other senses.
Until they crash into a hard surface and Crowley reluctantly opens his eyes to swear at the cash register pressing into his hips.
The fact that Aziraphale doesn't reprimand him speaks volumes.He doesn't really use his mouth for talking now, anyway.
