Maul dies on Tatooine and wakes up over 40 years in the past. He quickly seizes the opportunity to change his fate and free himself from his Master, to save his brothers, including the one he doesn't yet know he has, and plot a new revenge against Darth Sidious with the advantages of time, foreknowledge and a surprisingly familiar Mandalorian face. It isn't only his own destiny that Maul's actions will change for the better, but that of Jango Fett and the entire Mandalorian people.
As far as the Force and the Ka'ra are concerned, healing hearts through the power of family and friendship will just be a nice side effect of saving the galaxy from its terrible future.

“Who…” Dumbfounded, Castorice finds herself asking the stranger a question. “W-Who are you?"
It's a stupid question—which Castorice realises upon uttering the sentence.
The stranger seems to agree, given that they roll their eyes at the journalist. “Who else could have told you to meet here?”
Castorice remains silent, eyeing them. They're still covered by their black cloak, and hiding behind an accompanying mask.
“Hey! Earth to Journalist Homebody…!” Thief Star suddenly exclaims, waving their hands in front of Castorice’s face. “If you don't start driving right now, we're both going to get arrested!”

Castorice just wants to write her articles in peace. Unfortunately for her, she somehow gains the attention of local criminal, Thief Star. Things escalate from there.

The black of his ethereal cape flutters. Flins kneels before Illuga with a dark flourish, taking Illuga's hand into his long, elegant fingers. The demon lowers his head, pressing a cool kiss to the crest of Illuga's knuckles.
"There is no other soul that has so bewitched me. Nothing else has possessed me so fiercely with desire. In all of my lifetimes, within all the planes of existence and time immemorial—there is nothing I have wanted more than I want you, Master Illuga."
Illuga's late father leaves behind disgruntled creditors who are hounding Illuga for money he doesn't have. A mysterious tome teaches him how to draw a summoning circle, and in a moment of desperation, Illuga is forced to use it.
