Summary
The Kingdom of Science builds a hot air balloon to search for crude oil. Senku, Chrome, and Kohaku take it up. The crash separates them.
Alone in unfamiliar territory, Senku stumbles on proof of life that has nothing to do with the Ishigami village. A whole settlement with its own customs, its own gods, and an obsession with one voyage in particular. A ship raised from rot and a hunt for mermaids.
Has the myth really lived on for 3700 years and grown into something people genuinely believe in? He goes to look at the ship out of pure scientific curiosity. He has no intention of boarding it.
By the time anyone realizes the mistake, the ship is already at sea.

It can't be that bad-
Anddd Omen somehow ended up in his favorite webnovel isekai style. Wouldn't a try-hard fan be overjoyed to be isekaied in their favorite piece of media? Normally he would agree.However the webnovel he got isekaied into was "Got Dropped in a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work".
While he loves to read the novel it's a whole different thing to live through it!
To highlight the problem here:
It's a horror novel. With deadly ghost stories. With monsters and aliens. Mixing Creepypasta, ghost stories and Scp-foundation together ta-da! This is the story you'll enjoy.
Or in short, a tired average bureau worker accidentally ends up in a different dimension, messes up because he doesn't realize it and finally ends up in the Daydream employee orientation.
He's in a whole lot of trouble now isn't he.
