Summary
Dennis is struggling to survive med school when, during a networking event at his university, another student jokes that maybe all they need are sugar daddies. Dennis can't get it out of his head, what's he got to lose?
Jack and Robby have been married for over a decade and love to occasionally bring other people into their life and bed, but they're both fed up with partner's being fucking weird about Jack's disability. So, when Dana drunkenly suggests they need a sugar baby, they think, "Why not?"

Summary
Dennis is immediately distracted from his task choosing from the vending machine. Tilting his head down, he bounces her slightly on his hip, swaying from one side to the other. His mouth is moving, though Robby can’t hear what he’s saying from here. His cheeks are a little flushed, too.
“Do I need to remind you two that you’re professionals?” Dana comments from behind them. Robby mildly snaps out of it— well, enough to turn and see Jack beside him doing just as he’s doing: staring openly at Dennis with the tiny child. “He’s just holding a baby. And besides, you shouldn’t be ogling one of your students.”
“He’s not a student anymore,” Robby corrects her at the same time Jack protests, “We’re dating him.”
“You shouldn’t be ogling anyone, I don’t care what your excuses are.”

Summary
All they wanted to do was spoil their boy, buy him the nicest things money could buy. When Robby and Jack found out Dennis was living on the eighth floor on an old stretcher, they lost it. They dragged him and all of his (few) belongings to their home, set him up in the guest room, and decided the boy was perfect enough to keep.

Summary
“She’s gotta be a strong little girl to wear down a tough guy like you.”
Robby absently rubbed the side of his face with his free hand. “Dana…” he finally replied with an exasperated sigh.
“Alright, alright! I’ll back off.” Dana held her hands up in surrender and got up to leave.
As Dana disappeared into the chaos of the night shift, the baby refused to let go of Robby’s finger. Reflex or not, he couldn’t bring himself to remove it. He was afraid that taking away the only secure connection she had left might further add to her trauma. Or his, he thought.
Shit.

Summary
“Oh, Honey!” Robby crooned. “Do you wanna tell Papa what’s wrong?"
She shook her head against his shoulder, so Robby turned to Jack for an explanation.
“She wants to FaceTime someone to show them the picture she drew, but I can’t understand who she’s asking for, and I know there’s no way she actually said what I think she said.”
“Daddy NOT listening, Papa!”
