'Harvey raises his glass towards Bruce, as if proposing a toast, “You’ve finally met your match.”
Bruce eyes Clark carefully for a moment, a small smile on his lips. He raises his glass, gently touching Harvey’s.
“I wasn’t aware of that up until now,” Bruce admits.
“Aware of what?” Clark asks, jealousy dripping from his lips.
Harvey leans in, “Bruce has always been the crazy jealous one in every relationship,” he whispers. “Nice to see he’s found someone that will match his… Freak.”
Clark can’t say for sure who turns red first, if himself or Bruce. But both end up with their cheeks burning as Harvey full on laughs at them.'
or: Clark finally meets Bruce's ex boyfriend at an office party, showing Bruce a part of himself he thought he should keep hidden. Bruce likes a jealous Clark Kent way more than he probably should. And, while trying to keep their relationship a secret still, Bruce just has to have him then and there. I mean, what else can he do but take Clark into his office?

Buck’s halfway through his second beer, aimlessly scrolling through TikTok when a conversation behind the bar catches his ear. He looks up and tries to get the bartender’s attention when he’s near, gesturing to get him to come towards him. “Hey, Brandon?” Brandon takes a step to the right and closer to Buck. “Did I hear that right? You guys are looking for someone to fill in on Thursday for entertainment?”
“Yeah, our usual guy cancelled. Apparently he can’t do his Thursdays anymore. Shame, too. He really brought in the crowds. Why? D’you know anyone?” Buck nods and opens Spotify to show Brandon. "Oli? Shit, yeah. I have 5 of his songs. You know him, Buckley?"
"I'm Oli."
-OR: in the midst of going back to work after the firetruck, the embolism, the tsunami, and the lawsuit, Buck feels more alone than ever. No one is talking to him, no one wants him to be there.
