Summary
… there was once a time the Romanovs had it all.
Gleb knows that they have it all. He has known since he was a child because his father told him so. They have it all, give back nothing, and they have to be brought down by all means necessary for the sake of Russia.
But everything is not as simple and easy as it seems. Maybe they didn't have it all, maybe they tried to give back something. Maybe the void in Gleb's heart won't be filled by their downfall.
Doroteya knows that they had it all, she used to see the Romanovs in her visions. She used to tell her family about them. Their situation has changed since. She wonders why God gave her the gift of sight then. What is the purpose?

Summary
Long before the mystery of Anastasia became a fascinating rumour, there was an amnesiac found in a forest with no known identity and very few memories of who she was.
Anya, she was dubbed by the nurses, as only grace from God himself could have helped her survive her wounds.
The hospital held haughty monarchists and prideful supporters of the Bolshevik cause as nurses, leading Anya to wonder what side of the Revolution had been the evil one: the Bolsheviks, who had only wanted the common man to earn his rightful share and yet, were no better than the tyrant they had opposed, or the Romanovs, who had held tyranny on Russia for three hundred long years and an incompetent Tsar who had seemed to care but had not known how to implement policies.
As Anya works to repay her medical debts, fuelled by an irrational desire to go to Paris and inexplicable grief, she begins to find that neither side were truly justified in the Revolution.
