Summary
Before Damian knew about Nika, he was convinced Tim was messing with him. Funny enough, Tim was the one to suggest it being a ghost; partly as a joke, and partly because he had his suspicions. Damian was immediately contrary to the idea. He didn’t believe in the supernatural, but he did like to check all his boxes.
The pranks were relatively harmless: his paintbrushes were in really obscure places around his room when he felt like painting, his toothbrush was balanced carefully atop a jenga tower of his bathroom essentials, and the cat fur brush for Alfred was replaced with Damian’s regular hair brush.
Then, he thought this ghost must really like brushes.

“Please, as if you could beat me. You don’t know what you’re talking about. After all, you’re all bark.” Ash leans closer with every word, until they’re both nose to nose. Caelen can count every impeccable eyelash on his damn eyelids, and it’s as infuriating as it is distracting. “And no bite.”
Caelen can feel his teeth grinding. He wants to storm off, snatch his collar, scream, anything to relieve the bubbling fury. He doesn’t get a chance to, thankfully. Ash leans back and sits with a flourish. He eyes Caelen with incredibly, very annoying contempt, ignoring the intrigued gazes of everyone else.
Caelen feels the pressure within him burn and tighten. His fists shake from how hard he’s clenching them.
“Well—it’s not like you have any bite, either!” He’s talking out of his ass, he knows it. But he has to say something.
Ash smiles at him, teeth gleaming. “You don’t want me to bite.”

“You all may have bested me these last few rounds, but you can’t kill me yet.” Zander leans over. “I’ve got many lives.”
“If I had hearts, they’d be blue.” The words slur on Gale’s tongue. He has to swallow down the sticky saliva that clings to the inside of his mouth. Ugh.
“Because you’re not like other girls?” Lucien laughs. He sobers up slowly at the solemn blankness on Gale’s face.
Gale shakes his head, and grimaces when it makes the pain pound harder. “Because I’m slowly dying.”
“Aren’t we all?” Zander says more than asks.
“This is different, I think. It’s like I’m poisoned.” He makes a vague gesture, one that goes on for so long that Rosco has to put them all out of their misery by pushing Gale’s hands down gently. “You guys know Undertale?”

Summary
There is now a new frequent occurrence during Janet’s daily makeup routine. Without fail, she’ll direct her vision to see a fluffy little head peeking through the doorway, like a little quokka. One that looks around in mild interest.
Janet makes a joke, one perky morning, about how it makes her feel like an animal being observed, to which Timothy smiles his cute little smile and tells her that if she were an animal, she’d be a bird. It’s the grandest compliment she’s ever received.
Prompt: Tim Drake watching Janet Drake put on makeup (and maybe playing with it himself)

Summary
“Damian!" The boy in question doesn’t even look his way, to Tim’s annoyance. Damian just continues to tie the gangsters up, aggravatingly. "We had a plan! Why didn’t you wait for my signal?”
“I saw an opportunity to apprehend the leader, so I took it.” Damian pulls the final knot tight, a little harder than necessary, to still the minor tremble just underneath his skin.
A narrative sketch regarding the aftermath of a fight and what happens when words go unspoken. Written from the perspectives of both Tim and Damian.

Summary
None of the lights are on when he creaks open one of the big doors and walks in, only the windows casting long light and shadows in the room. It is dead quiet.
Just as Zanka is about to go to the kitchen to fetch himself a water, his eyes drift towards a corner and he freezes in place, his heart skipping a beat in surprise.
Because there, sitting at one of the tables farther into the room with light shining right next to him and making him more visible, is Rudo.

The night before the Doll Festival finds Zanka unable to sleep properly despite himself. When he goes down to the mess hall in the middle of the night to drink some water, he's surprised to see a familiar face. Him and Rudo share a late night talk to distract each other from their impending mission and the possibility of something more happening between them arises.

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?
