Summary
There were…a lot of headlines surrounding the Goetian Princesses’ 18th Birthday. He felt stupid for not realizing it sooner. Reporters dwelt on the bestowment of her Father’s Title and power. Commenters were more enthusiastic about the grandeur of the party itself. Blitz just hoped that whatever happened, she’d be safe.

The short of it: Kaveh caught a very rare manifestation of the Withering that was not Eleazar after clearing out a remaining pocket of said Withering by himself. Alone. In the woods. Following directions the Traveler scribbled on a tree trunk somewhere, probably. This conclusion will eventually be drawn.
The long of it: Kaveh went home coughing up flower petals in a stroke of truly poetic misfortune, and if Alhaitham's presence exacerbated his mysterious new problem terribly, well, that was just one more way in which Kaveh would have to endure excruciating pain for fear of losing a man he could not have, did not deserve to have, but was too greedy to let go of.

Summary
Kaveh gets drunk at the tavern, and insists that his roommate hates him. Unfortunately for him, Istaroth, the Primordial God of Time, happens to be listening in on the conversation- and she heavily disagrees.
In order to teach the architect a lesson, Istaroth decides to temporarily send Kaveh to another universe. He figures out it's very similar to his own, but with one key difference- the Alhaitham living in this world actually hates him.
(This fic is very, very loosely inspired by 'A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.)
